ArticlesThe first 3 articles set up the United States Government, setting up rules and the structure for the Judicial, Executive, and Legislative branches of government.
The Fourth article explains the State Governments and shows the guaranteed rights to the States and admits them in the Union. The Fifth article explains the process of adding Amendments to the Constitution. The Sixth article says that the Constitution is the highest authority in the land. The last article says that the constitution came into effect when 9 out of 13 States approved it. |
The AmendmentsThe Constitutions main reason it was successful was because of the first Ten Amendments we have. When the founding fathers created the constitution, the biggest reason they wanted to create the Constitution was so they could preserve the rights of the people. The first Amendments set the lines of the American citizens rights, and set restrictions on what the government could take away from the state or people. As the years went by, many more amendments were added. (now we have 29)
